Optimum Nutrition’s 100 Whey Gold Standard has all the essential amino acids you need to build your muscles. All you need to do is mix it with your shake recipes to enjoy great taste while staying healthy and working out.

These recipes are a cinch to prepare, requiring just a good juicer and a few tasty ingredients. Most can be made up in just a few minutes to give you more time in your day to do the things you like.

Before making your shake, make sure you check your Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard bottle and compare with your dietary needs to get the best out of your work out and shake. The recipes are optimized for one scoop of whey. To adjust to your personal diet, just multiply by the times of scoops you require. For example, if you are going to take two scoops of whey with your shake, just double all the ingredients.

1. Quickie

You’re just about to step out the door to go to the gym in a couple of minutes and need something fast. This recipe is meant to get you going in a hurry:

1 scoop of Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard

6 fluid ounces of your favorite juice or almond milk. (This is about ¾ of a standard cup.)

6 ice cubes.

If you don’t have ice cubes or don’t want to drink a cold shake, you can substitute a half a cup of water per scoop of whey. Just pour it all in the juicer, run it on high for a minute and enjoy.

2. Fresh fruit flavor

Shakes work best if you have access to fresh fruit, and a little more time. This recipe is optimized for one banana, but depending on your choice of fruits, you can substitute with an apple, pear, a quarter of a fresh pineapple, a handful of fresh grapes or half a cup of blueberries.

6 ice cubes.

Just throw the mixture into the mixer and run on high for a minute and it’s ready. As above, youc and substitute the ice cubes with about half a cup of water.

1 banana

1 teaspoon of vanilla.
